So Much Happening at Chopperline!
It has been a busy couple of weeks in the run up to Christmas for staff and students.
Here is a sample of what has been going on.......
- Our first Royal Oman Police student, Harith passed his CPL(H) flight test today with our in house ATO and Group Chief Pilot, Ian Paull. Harith now progress onto NVFR, mountain, hook and instrument ratings. Well done Harith!
- Chopperline gained CASA accreditation this week allowing us to train students for their Fixed Wing Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating. Well done to Mark Munn and the Fixed Wing crew.
- Brett Gallard transferred from our Heliwork Kununurra base this week and joined the crew at our Mackay MPT base. Brett is now flying the Longranger and will be shortly endorsed on the Bell 222 & 430 with a co pilot instrument rating. Brett was selected for the position from our in house candidates and shows the groups commitment to moving our people up the 'ladder'.
- Chopperline graduates continue to be successful in finding employment, even outside of the group. Charlie Elliot is now working for Cloncurry Mustering, Martin Miller with Geelong Helicopters and Tim Flanagan with B&B helicopters at Fitzroy Crossing. Well done Gents!
We also have additional highly experienced rotary wing instructors joining Chopperline in 2010 to cater for the strong demand. More on that soon.
Fly Safe.
